Working with remote, forgotten coffee communities on the edge of the world comes with unexpected challenges. And right now, that means we cannot offer coffee from our long-term partner communities.

Daga coffee from Papua New Guinea is sold out, and the next container has still not started its journey. In Andemaka, Madagascar, the harvest has only just begun. And our Bolivian coffee is already sailing towards our roastery, but will not arrive before August.

So in the meantime, we thought this might be the perfect moment to explore.

For the next couple of months, we have selected a small range of beans from lesser-known origins — Rwanda, India, Tanzania and a few others. Coffees that still fit the Renegade idea: good value, honest character, interesting origin, and something a little different from the ordinary supermarket shelf.

Maybe some of these will remain temporary guests. Maybe one of them will become our next long-term partnership.
