Rwanda coffee beans - medium roast
Rwanda coffee beans - medium roast
500g Arabica Red Bourbon coffee beans from Gatsibo district in Rwanda with a medium roast.
The medium roast has the gentle fruitiness of dried cherries and apricots, balanced with black tea and caramel. It doesn't have any sharp sourness.
Works well for most brewing techniques – either enjoyed as a black coffee via the drip method, french press or from the automatic machine or used as a base for a cappuccino or latte.
The coffee beans are freshly roasted in our House of Renegades roastery, on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia.

This month's coffee adventure takes us to Rwanda's Gatsibo district. The coffee is grown by more than 1,500 smallholder farmers and processed at the Humure washing station, operated by Baho Coffee. Alongside buying coffee, Baho works with farmers by providing training, seedlings and access to small loans to help strengthen local communities.
This fully washed Red Bourbon is a clean and vibrant expression of Rwandan coffee.
