Bella Aldea, Dominican Republic coffee beans - pre-order

This high-scoring speciality coffee comes from Bella Aldea, one of the most highly regarded family-run farms in the Dominican Republic.

Sounds like a classic speciality coffee roastery already, doesn’t it? To be honest, the whole “best beans from the best farms” thing is not really what Renegade Farmers is about. In fact, it is not our thing at all...

But somewhat unexpectedly, we had an opportunity to buy some very good coffee on very reasonable terms. There is no additional cost for bringing it to Europe either, as the container carrying our Dominican cacao beans is just about to begin its journey to Estonia, and we can simply add the bags of coffee to the same shipment.

So, we decided that even if this is not usually our thing, it would be silly to simply say no when there are people who would like to try something new and genuinely good. Dominican coffee is worth discovering and is very rarely available in the Baltics.

This week, we are therefore taking orders from anyone who would like to try it. The coffee will be delivered directly from the farm to our container, and we expect the beans to reach our roastery by the end of September.

The coffee beans are freshly roasted in our House of Renegades roastery, on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia.

Origin: Grown in Juncalito, Dominican Republic. Bella Aldea Estate

Growing altitude: 1000-1300 masl.

Processing method: washed

Variety: Típica, Caturra, Pacamara & other varieties of Arabica.

Taste notes: citrus fruits, plum, caramel and nuts

• Medium roast – suitable for filter brewing methods, French press, espresso, moka pot and automatic coffee machines
