The extra dark roast means that the beans have been roasted a bit more than our usual dark roast, resulting in less fruitiness and more chocolaty notes. Suits best for those who search for intense, not fruity, coffee. Good base for espresso drinks.
Daga's coffee isn’t unknown because of quality issues; it’s unheard of because these coffee jungles have been cut off from the world for decades. This specific batch of beans from 2024 has been officially graded at 81.5—a specialty coffee score—proving the potential that’s still here. The coffee is already very good today and with its highly valued cultivar and ideal growing conditions, we believe it can be elevated even further in the years ahead.
The coffee beans are freshly roasted in Estonia.
