This month’s coffee adventure takes us to Karnataka, India. Have you ever tried Indian coffee? Perhaps without even realising it, you have, as Indian beans are often used in blends of supermarket coffees. It is much less available as an origin in its own right, and that is exactly why we wanted to explore it on its own.

Origin: Grown in Karnataka, India.

Growing altitude: 1200-1400 masl.

Processing method: washed

Variety: different varieties of Arabica coffee beans

Taste notes: Dark chocolate and nutty notes dominate without tipping into bitterness. In the light roast, a touch of lemony acidity and delicate floral notes come through. 

Net weight: 500g

Available roast levels:

• Light roast – best for filter brewing methods
• Medium-dark roast – suitable for filter brewing methods, French press, espresso, moka pot and automatic coffee machines
• Extra-dark roast – suitable for French press, espresso, moka pot and automatic coffee machines

August monthly ordering is open until the 11th of August. 

We ship the orders as we roast; all the shipments will be sent out by the 14th of August at the latest.

Here’s how the system works:

• You can order coffee with a 20% discount once a month on a specific week. We will notify you via email when the time has come.
  
• We will roast the coffee over the weekend that follows the ordering time, and ship out the parcels as the coffee gets ready.
  
• If you order at least 3 packs of coffee, then shipping is free in the Baltics, Finland, Poland and Germany. For other countries, regular shipping rules apply.
• The maximum limit is 5 packages per person.
