A quiet rebellion from the island of Saaremaa, Estonia.

No, coffee does not grow in Estonia, but the beans we roast in our small roastery are anything but ordinary. Renegade Beans began in the jungles of Daga, Papua New Guinea. While every last bean from our first shipment has been roasted and shipped, the next harvest is still waiting in the mountains for the endless logistical challenges to ease.

Then there is Madagascar, where (at least for now) everything seems to be going according to plan. But the harvest season has only just begun, meaning those beans are still far from reaching our roastery.

And then there was a third origin to fill the gap, but a revolution broke out before the coffee could even make its way to the ship.

That is the reality of our Renegade origins, and that is fine, because we start
where others stop. But while waiting for logistical miracles and revolutions to
end, we decided to explore a few other regions to keep our roasting skills sharp
and our customers’ cups filled with coffee.

This month, our community voted for Rwanda. If you enjoy it, maybe we will travel there to find another overlooked community that could use a helping hand and Rwanda could become one of the next Renegade origins.

Psst...it's time to pre-order the most personalised Christmas gifts out there.

Yes, we're really talking about Christmas in the middle of the summer... but there is a good reason for that.
