Our third Renegade coffee community is in Cochabamba, Bolivia!

Cochabamba is different from every other community we have ever considered working with. A couple of small vegetable-farming communities have only recently started growing coffee. They are located more than 500 km from the nearest processing centre, yet have the potential to become a highly regarded coffee region in their own right. Read more from here.

In the future, our Bolivian coffee will come from the farmers of San José in the Cochabamba region, but our first coffee offers an introduction to Bolivia’s flavours, bringing together beans grown by small-scale farmers across several regions.

The beans are freshly roasted at our House of Renegades roastery on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia.

Origin: Grown in the Yungas area, Bolivia.

Growing altitude: 1400 masl.

Processing method: washed

Variety: Red Catuai, Caturra

Taste notes: clean flavour profile: gentle citrus and fruit notes, followed by a milk-chocolate finish.

Roast profiles:

Light roast – best for filter brewing methods
Medium roast – suitable for filter brewing methods, French press, espresso, moka pot and automatic coffee machines
Dark roast – suitable for French press, espresso, moka pot and automatic coffee machines
