When we made our first oolong tea, hardly anyone in Georgia had heard of it, and some even said we shouldn’t call it that. But we’ve never been the ones to follow rigid definitions, so we stayed true to our Renegade name, and this oolong quickly became one of our most popular teas.

This oolong tea has the perfect balance between the silky nature of black tea and the freshness of green tea, with some floral hints in it.

  • Grown and produced in our own tea farm in the village Gumati, Imereti, Georgia.
  • Exact brewing instructions are provided on each package.
  • For optimal storage, keep the package closed and in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • The tea is best for 3 years after the production date. (shown on each package)

Renegade Tea Estate was where the Renegade story began in 2018 when we left our corporate careers to rehabilitate abandoned tea plantations. Read more here.

All Renegade Tea Estate teas are grown under the Georgian sun, chemical-free and without any concentrated fertilisers. The harvest is done by hand, with people from nearby villages plucking only the finest leaves.

All of the teas we sell are produced in our own small factory by either Aleko, Hannes or Tomas, experimenting with different recipes, trying our best to bring out the greatest tastes of Georgian tea.
